GRUESOME Murder Of Wife By Angry Man Leaves People Disturbed

During these times, spouses may say or do certain things that are hurtful — but in the end, they either make up or get divorced. One Indian resident took his anger too far when he got into an argument with his wife and killed her.

On July 15, 55-year-old Nakaphodi Majhi was arguing with his wife of 25 years, Sachala Majhi, accusing her of being unfaithful to him. Around 3:30 in the morning, the 55-year-old allegedly used a Katuri, or sharp dagger, to slit his lover’s throat. The husband then reportedly cut off the woman’s head and carried it toward the nearest police station, about seven miles away.
Locals in the village of Jankira stopped and detained the suspect on his way to the Gondia Police Station, with his wife’s head in hand, until authorities were able to arrest him. According to The Times of India, Jordana authorities seized the Katuri as well as the woman’s head while witnesses watched in shock. There is an ongoing investigation of the incident. The married couple has two sons who live outside the village.
