(UnitedReader.com) – US Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) has made her position as a Trump critic clear. As a result, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney has found herself in trouble as she looks toward re-election. All her votes against conservative values are finally catching up to her.
On November 13, the state’s central party committee voted 31-29 to recognize Cheney as a Republican no longer. Representative Cheney is the state’s sole US Representative. GOP officials in one-third of Wyoming’s 23 counties also voted to no longer consider her a Republican.

Cheney’s spokesman, Jeremy Adler, called the action laughable and claimed that the Republican Party has allowed itself to become a hostage of former President Trump. Harriet Hageman, who is running against Cheney, accused the Representative of not caring what people of Wyoming have to say. She added that when Cheney started her battle with Trump, she separated herself from Wyoming.
Cheney seemingly has nowhere left to go as House Republicans have lost their faith in her. She lost her leadership position to Elise Stefanik (R-NY). Cheney’s removal is a big win for America First Republicans. Her re-election bid is undoubtedly going to be difficult, especially going up against a Trump-backed Hageman.
