(UnitedReader.com) – Recently Virginia had its gubernatorial election, which saw Republican Glenn Youngkin defeat his Democratic opponent, Terry McAuliffe. The Democrat’s loss comes as a surprise in a state where Biden beat Trump by 10 points. Now, McAuliffe may be headed in a completely different direction.
Terry McAuliffe may not have won the governor’s office, but the previously elected official appears to have a job waiting for him in DC. To his credit, the Democratic candidate wasn’t actively seeking employment opportunities with the White House.
The Biden Administration is reportedly looking to recruit Terry McAuliffe, fresh off his loss in the Virginia gubernatorial racehttps://t.co/l8noyBazh4

Yet, it appears that officials within the Biden administration want to bring him on board. The exact job Biden’s White House has for McAuliffe is unclear. President Biden already has a full cabinet, so it appears his administration is trying to find McAuliffe a different position, perhaps one he’s better suited to perform.
President Biden campaigned with the Virginia candidate leading up to the elections. The President later admitted that the Democrat’s inability to pass Biden’s massive infrastructure plan may have been the reason for McAuliffe’s loss in Virginia. Perhaps President Biden feels sorry for McAuliffe, feeling partially responsible for his loss, and he’s trying to make it up.
The real question here is whether McAuliffe will take the job.
