(UnitedReader.com) – The world has come to know how much Donald Trump loves golf. His passion for the game was on display throughout his presidency, where he caught flak for allegedly playing too much. Now, his love for the game is shining on again as he looks to plan an international golf tournament featuring leaders from around the world.
A Saudi-backed super golf league has people asking questions, one of them being where the tournament would take place. According to the Washington Post, the league has been in contact with former President Trump’s golf course firm to discuss the possibility of it hosting the event.

The news outlet reported that Greg Norman, the league’s leader, and the sponsor of the massive tournament, LIV Golf, has been speaking with Trump’s representatives about potentially hosting the event at either his Bedminster, NJ or Doral, FL courses. The former president has several other courses, such as his Washington, D.C., Jupiter, FL and Westchester, NY locations, each of them having the potential to host the super league.
The idea of Trump’s golf courses hosting an elite golf tournament is wild. The former president’s Doral, FL course used to host the PGA tour until Trump decided to make a run for the White House in 2016. The PGA Tour pulled their event from Trump’s course after the January 6 riot on Capitol Hill.
While there hasn’t been any mention of the players who will participate, golfchannel.com claims several sources indicate the league’s intention to play 14 events, 10 of which are allegedly taking place in the United States.
